Description

The organ in Neukirchen an der Enknach, Austria, is a free-form organ in the Baroque style.

Appearance and design:

  • The organ case is 5.8 m high, 3.4 m wide and 90 cm deep.
  • The case is made of hand-planed solid Swedish pine, while the carvings are made of linden.
  • The pedal pipes are located behind the organ case.
  • In the facade are the principal pipes of the discant, which are joined at the feet.
  • The details of the keyboard are made of oak, beech, jacaranda and boxwood.
